The Overseas collection is Vacheron’s luxury sports watch, which is comparable to the likes of the Royal Oak from AP, and the Big Bang from Hublot.

Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest watchmakers in the world being founded in 1755. This collection is very easily recognizable due to its distinguished and distinctive bezel. Though this timepiece isn’t new on the scene, it is worthy of mention when talking about exceptional pieces.

The bezel is fixed and is crafted from highly polished 18kt pink gold. The case in general is fashioned from finely brushed pink gold, which contrasts well with the polished bezel. The solid case back also features a depiction of the three-mast ship captained by Amerigo Vespucci in relief.

The subdial at the 6 position reveals the moon phase and the continuous seconds. The subdials at the 3, 9, and 12 positions are shared by the perpetual calendar and the chronograph. The chrono minutes and hours are displayed at the 3 and 9 positions, while the chrono seconds are indicated by a central hand. The Perpetual calendar features the day, date, month, and it even carries a leap year indicator.

Driving this timepiece is the self-winding mechanical caliber 1136 QP. The automatic movement carries a power reserve of 40 hours and beats at 21,600 VpH. Protecting the movement from magnetic fields up to 25,000 A/m is a soft iron cage.
