Gucci Goes Pink In The G Chrono Collection

This model from the Gucci G Chrono Collection is a definite winner with its soft lines and careful attention to detail. The watch is manufactured in polished stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic ensuring that this watch will not react adversely with even the most sensitive of skin types.

The fixed bezel is two tiered, with the upper tier carrying 54 of the most perfectly cut, visibly clean diamonds in the industry. These gems are certified as Top Wesselton color (F-G). The diamonds are individually set and form the letter ‘G’ instantly identifying this model as a watch from the fashion powerhouse that was opened by Guccio Gucci in 1921. The diamonds weigh just a little above ¾ of a carat (0.78ct) in total.

Though this watch is geared towards women the case diameter is quite large coming in at 44mm. This size is generally characterized as a gent’s but is not so overly large that it is impossible for wear by a woman. The case back is solid steel and is screwed optimizing the water resistance on this watch which stands at 30 meters (99 feet).  The main crown is textured for easy adjustments of the time and date.

The dial is pink and features a ‘rays of the sun’ guilloche design on the internal dial and hour track. As the name suggests, the Gucci G Chrono is indeed a chronograph which can time any event up to half an hour. The silver toned hands and hour markers are luminous allowing for excellent readability at night. A moderate minute track is located on the flange for precise time readouts. The date aperture is located at the 8 o’clock position.

This lady’s timepiece is driven by a precise Swiss made quartz movement. In keeping with the pink dial, Gucci uses a pink alligator leather strap. Gucci secures this watch with a classic ardillon buckle made also from stainless steel. This model carries a 2 year international warranty and retails for USD $4,595.
