The Mido Multifort Lady Diamonds

The Multifort collection first graced the wrists of watch lovers worldwide back in 1934. 80 years later, the Multifort collection is still going strong with a recent addition – the Multifort Lady Diamonds.

This watch made for the discerning and fashion forward woman features 11 diamonds on the dial, each marking an hour position on the dial and totaling just over 5 points. The only exception being the 3 o’clock position, which instead carries apertures for both the day of the week and the date. The dial itself is brushed, and therefore is primed to highlight the heavily lacquered mother of pearl central dial. Besides the diamonds, the dial also features markers coated with Super-LumiNova for excellent readability at night. The hands are rose gold toned with lume, contrasting wonderfully against the dial.

The case is made from stainless steel and is treated with rose gold PVD. The rose gold tone of the case goes well with the white rubber accents on the bezel and the white rubber strap, secured using a pin buckle. The white rubber on the bezel is stamped with the word ‘Mido’ all the way around. The main crown is quite prominent and is also in rose gold tone. The case, excluding the main crown, measures 38mm across. Sapphire crystal is found both protecting the dial and on the case back allowing the wearer to admire the decorated movement. The Mido Multifort Lady Diamonds is protected against 100 meters or 10 Bars of water pressure, making this watch a great choice for daily wear.

The movement is self-winding mechanical caliber ETA 2836-2. The movement carries a minimum of 38 hours of power reserve. The movement is also protected by Nivachoc and Nivacourbe shock protection system. The frequency of the balance wheel beats at a constant 28,800 VpH. The oscillating rotor is engraved with ‘Mido’ and features Vagues de Genève for decoration. The watch is adjusted at three position ensuring only the best in terms of accuracy.
