Piaget’s Limelight Gala Watch

If it is one thing that we can expect from Piaget’s Limelight collection is something special and Piaget delivers with the Gala. Piaget is known for their intriguing designs, where it is more art and jewelry that happens to tell the time. However you want to spin it, Piaget always has had an amazing eye for the truly spectacular and it is quite evident in this Limelight collection timepiece.

Without a doubt, this watch is crafted from only the finest materials. The case is made from 18kt white gold which has been rhodiumed to fine polished finish. The most noticeable thing about the case are the single elongated lugs on either side holding on to the lustrous black satin strap. The lugs and bezel carry sixty-two full cut round brilliant diamonds with an approximate weight of 1.8 carats. These diamonds are certified as IF-VVS1 and offer Top Wesselton color (F-G). The ardillon buckle is also set with a single brilliant cut diamond weighing 1 point. The diameter of the case is 32mm and it lays flat on the wrist with a total case thickness of 7.4mm.

The dial is silvered and features a beautiful hour track with elongated black applied Roman numeral hour markers. The Piaget logo is slotted neatly at the 3 o’clock position replacing the Roman numeral III. The hands are rhodium colored baton shaped. The hands offer no luminescence and are a bit difficult to discern from the dial.

Driving the Piaget Limelight Gala Watch is an accurate quartz movement Piaget 690P that is made completely in Switzerland. This fine lady’s timepiece is made to withstand up to three ATM of water pressure. This includes light splashes of water when washing hands or light showers of rain. Piaget protects this watch with a two year international guarantee against manufacturer’s defects.
