Alfred Dunhill Classic Crushed Black Diamond Watch

Alfred Dunhill, a famous British luxury goods brand best known for its menswear, leather goods, and accessories, has recently launched a glistening version of its Classic men’s wristwatch. Same as any other timepiece from Alfred Dunhill’s collection, the Classic Crushed Diamond model is made from extraordinary materials, designed to encapsulate the spirit of British timeless elegance, and powered by the finest Swiss movements that are produced inside Jaeger-LeCoultre manufactures.

The Alfred Dunhill Classic Crushed Black Diamond Watch is a formal and elegant timepiece designed to fit a black tie that one would typically wear with a tuxedo. The aesthetics of this watch is directly inspired by the stylishness of a black tie, but Alfred Dunhill doesn’t stop here. Its captivating black dial is made of genuine black diamonds, crushed and blended into lacquer, which is something that adds a touch of extravagance to this otherwise classic watch, and makes it very fitting for a modern-day dandy. Even though a lot of watch aficionados consider that diamonds on men’s watches are completely unnecessary, many would surely agree that this is one of the best-looking diamond watches ever created for men.

Alfred Dunhill Classic Crushed Black Diamond Watch bears a Swiss Made label, which indicates that it features a Swiss movement that was encased in Switzerland, and that its final inspection took place in Switzerland. The double line insignia, imprinted on the dial and embossed on the crown, represents the brand’s simplified logo. Set against the dazzling black dial, located at 6 o’clock, is the silver-colored small seconds counter, while the discrete date aperture appears at 3 o’clock position. Both of these practical functions are powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 896-dato mechanical movement, which is also used for the Master Grande Ultra-Thin model. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides around 43 hours of power reserve.

Alfred Dunhill Classic Crushed Black Diamond Watch is made of stainless steel and it measures 38mm in diameter. Its perfectly elegant proportions are in compliance with the black tie codex, which implies that only discrete and subtle timepieces are worn with formal attire. A matte black alligator leather strap completes the overall impression of luxury and prestige, while also reminding us on Alfred Dunhill’s expertise in production of premium leather goods.

Alfred Dunhill Classic Crushed Black Diamond Watch retails at $7,000, and it is available only through Dunhill’s Personal Shopper service. A reference number that identifies this particular model is DCM06848.
