Armand Nicolet watches are some of the most fascinating in the industry today. Armand Nicolet captures the essence of what watchmaking is all about with the LS8. The LS8 is made in a comfortable size of 43mm, with the case thickness coming in at 10mm for a snug fit. The LS8 is crafted from surgical 316L stainless steel polished to a lustrous finish. This model also features an 18kt rose gold bezel and ridged main crown for easy handling when making modifications to the time. This handsome timepiece is outfitted with a grey alligator large scale leather strap which is secured with a classic tang type clasp.
The movement is visible through both the front and back anti-reflective sapphire crystals making this watch a ‘Skeleton’ piece. The applied indexed hour markers and the small seconds subdial at 6 are represented by a guilloche decorated grey dial. The hands, indexes for the hours, and minute markers are all made from 18kt rose gold. At 12:30 is the Armand Nicolet logo made from the main plate. The brand’s name and the word ‘Tramelan’ are engraved at 3 o’clock. Armand Nicolet has released this watch in a limited numbered series of 200 pieces worldwide. The individual number of 200 can be seen in a rose gold inscription at 9:30.
The movement is mechanical manual winding with a power reserve of 36 hours. The Caliber is the AN0711S which was modified from another movement – the UT600 from 1957. The movement is adjusted at 5 positions ensuring accuracy. The Armand Nicolet LS8 is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM).
