The Strumento Marino Warrior Collection

The Strumento Marino brand features a Warrior Collection that despite its fearsome name is a great, everyday utility watch. These watches are crafted from 316L stainless steel that has been coated in Black PVD. PVD or Phosphor Vapor Deposition is a type of plating process that bonds both metals at a molecular level. PVD plating won’t flake off or diminish in its luster over time.

The case is sized at 44mm across and 55mm lug-to-lug. A red rubber ring goes around the ridged main crown which is found at the unusual 10 position. A soft red silicon band with black contrast stitching completes the aesthetics of this watch. Securing the 22/20 strap is a classic pin buckle.

One of the more interesting facts about this piece is that it is powered by a quartz movement made by the Citizen Watch Company. This movement also carries a date, which is found in an aperture at the 4:30 position on the black dial. Also on the dial are 8 circular hour markers coated with lume and one triangular marker at 12. The black IP stainless steel hands are skeletonized and also coated with lume for legibility of the time at night.

The Strumento Marino Warrior Collection is water resistant to 100 meters or 10 ATM. With this level of protection it is thus a great choice for daily wear. This timepiece employs a hardened mineral crystal to protect the dial and resist scratches. The Strumento Marino Warrior Collection is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase.
