The Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton Lady

The Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton Lady is not just a miniaturization of the Jazzmaster Skeleton Gent’s but a unique timepiece that offers a powerful elegance on the wrist of the sophisticated lady. There are many similarities in the two timepieces but Hamilton offers a timepiece with softer lines and a delicate visage in the Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton Lady.

Powering this timepiece is the H-20-S movement, which is self-winding. This movement features a recurring H pattern on many elements of the movement like the oscillating rotor and the bridges. The H-20-S is fitted with a balance wheel that vibrates at a constant 28,800 VpH or 4 Hz. This high frequency allows the watch to time smaller intervals of seconds and therefore be of greater precision.

The case of this watch is sculpted from stainless steel that has been both brushed and polished adding some depth t this gem from Hamilton. This watch measures in at 36mm for the case diameter. Like the gent’s version, this model carries a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The main crown is ridged for the easy adjustment of the time and the winding of the watch. The lugs measure in at 18mm and they hold the white leather strap, which secures this watch to the wrist via a classic tang type buckle. The leather strap is trimmed in red, which complement the rubies on the skeletonized dial.

The dial is white matching the leather strap. The hour markers are represented by teardrop shaped rhodium toned indexes. Dotting the intervals between the indexes are printed black markers representing the minutes. Both minute and the hour hand are leaf shaped and are coated with lume for nighttime legibility. At the 3 position, there is the inscription “Hamilton Automatic” identifying the brand. This model is water resistant to 50 meters or 5 bars, making this watch a great choice for daily wear.
