Frederique Constant delivers excellence in their Double Heart Beat collection. The main theme central to this line is the pair of double heart shaped apertures that are featured just below the 12 position in each of these watches. The ladies’ watches are all automatic and reveal the beating heart of the watch – the balance wheel, through the apertures. These watches represent the epitome of class and sophistication as the designers at Frederique Constant leave nothing to chance. These watches have been designed by women for women.
The model featured today is sculpted from solid, surgical stainless steel and carries case dimensions of 34mm. The watch is quite thin with a case height of just 9.9mm. This is superb for an automatic timepiece. The crown is refined and is set with a stunning cabochon cut gem, which complements the color of the dial. The main crown is also fitted with 2-O Rings which maintain the water resistance on this model at 6 ATM or 60 meters, perfect for daily wear.
The bezel is two-tiered and is adorned with brilliant round cut diamonds. The diamonds used are all VS clarity range and Top Wesselton color grades (F-G). The bezel also holds a scratch resistant, curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective properties. The case back is exhibition styled allowing the wearer to view the movement.
The movement used in this model is the caliber FC-310. The balance wheel beats at a constant 28,800 VpH with 26 jewels and a power reserve of 38 hours.
The dial is guilloche and features a single prominent Roman numeral at the 6 position, which adds balance to the dial. All of the other hour markers are represented using round brilliant diamonds. The hands are rhodium toned which offer excellent contrast against the black mother of pearl dial. This model carries a black satin strap with a tang type buckle. All of the straps used are interchangeable due to the patented easy change system.
