The Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Tourbillon Virtuoso III

From acclaimed watchmaker Bovet comes the Amadeo Fleurier Tourbillon Virtuoso III. This timepiece uses the innovative Amadeo case with a secret opening, which converts this stylish wristwatch into a fob style pocket watch that comes equipped with its own chain made from material complementing the case. The case of the watch is fashioned from either 18kt red or white gold with its crown located at the 12 position and set with a gorgeous deep Burmese blue cabochon sapphire. The gold is highly polished and is set with what looks like large baguette cut diamonds. These timepieces from Bovet come in a limited series of 39 watches per gold option.

The cases measure in at 46mm for the case diameter, and rides tall on the wrist with a case thickness of 18.3mm. Bovet uses full skin black alligator leather to outfit this incredible this timepiece. Securing the leather strap is a classy ardillon buckle made from either 18kt red or white gold. The Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Tourbillon Virtuous III carries a water resistance of 30 meters or 100 feet.

The open worked dial features some of the most intricate engraving work on the bridges. There is a central dial, which reveals the hours and minutes and a retrograde date display that curls around this dial. Just above the date display is the leap year indicator. At the 3 and 9 positions are the day of the week and month apertures respectively. At the 6 position is a pristine looking tourbillon complication. The tourbillon also incorporates a small seconds indicator. Blued steel screws dot the bridge work for a truly amazing aesthetic. On the reverse side is yet another dial just giving the time.

Powering the Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Tourbillon Virtuoso III is the Calibre Virtuoso III Spécialité Horlogère DIMIER 1738. This movement is hand wound and carries an autonomy of 5 days. The number of parts on this model stands at 656, which makes this watch a marvel of modern watchmaking. The balance wheel on this stunner alternates some 21,600 times each and every hour for a precise rate.
