Rado Esenza Touch Fibonacci Limited Edition

Rado Glows With The Esenza Touch Fibonacci Limited Edition

As a continuation to the successful Esenza collection launched last year, Rado has unveiled the Fibonacci Limited Edition for Baselworld 2014. This model takes after the original in that it uses touch to set the time. The difference between the Fibonacci and models from last year is that the Fibonacci is set with diamonds on the dial and it is limited in production to 300 pieces.

The 534 diamonds come together to form a Fibonacci spiral on the jet black dial. The diamonds carry a total carat weight of just under 70 points. The diamonds used are all Top Wesselton and carry a clarity grade of IF (Internally Flawless) – VVS1. Fibonacci’s spirals are seen quite often in nature in flowers and other natural structures.

The case is made from a high tech monobloc construction, done under extreme high pressure. The case features dimensions of 33mm going across and 45mm from top to bottom. This model is quite thin with a case height of just 8.4mm. In fact the dimensions of the Esenza Fibonacci Limited Edition are the same as last year’s models.

The case back is made from stainless steel with a black PVD coating. The case back is engraved with the limited edition number XXX/300. The crystal protecting the dial is made from sapphire defending it against the elements, while resisting scratches. There is no crown as the time is adjusted by the gentle sweep of a finger along the case middle. This ladies’ timepiece is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM).

This Rado Esenza Touch Fibonacci Limited Edition is powered by a Swiss made quartz watch caliber ETA F10.101. This movement features 5 jewels. Completing the watch is a three piece ceramic bracelet with a titanium triple deployant clasp, considered the most secure clasp in Swiss watchmaking. This watch is backed by a two year international warranty.
