Introducing The Raymond Weil Freelancer Ladies Urban Black

For the first time in Raymond Weil’s long history of watchmaking the brand is offering a watch for ladies in a black PVD stainless steel case. The watch is a captivating example of the brand’s forward approach to watchmaking where it seeks to shatter boundaries and replace them with beauty, form, and functionality in one splendid model.

The Raymond Weil Freelancer Urban Ladies Black comes in a relatively large size for women with its 38mm case diameter. It is sized to make a statement yet not large enough to be cumbersome while engaging in day-to-day activities. Raymond Weil matches the black PVD case with 86 black diamonds on the fixed bezel and lugs. All of the diamonds are full cut 58 faceted round brilliant stones. The lugs hold a black textured leather strap, which is secured by a folding clasp made with black PVD stainless steel.

The dial is anthracite grey with raised stylized Arabic numerals fitted on a smooth hour chapter ring. The central dial is guilloche patterned in a cluster of dots, which complement the textured pattern of the leather strap. Just below the hands is the name of the maker “Raymond Weil” and “Geneve” in applied rhodium toned lettering, which contrasts against the dark aesthetics of this piece. The hands feature lume for the legibility of the time at night. Just below the 12 numeral is a large aperture, which displays the balance wheel also known as the regulating organ of this fabulous ladies’ timepiece. The balance wheel is highlighted as it is crafted in a gold toned material. Protecting the dial is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

The Raymond Weil Freelancer Urban Ladies Black is driven by an accurate self-winding mechanical movement made in Switzerland.
